Software for the way
you actually live

Miyo Studio builds thoughtful mobile apps and software tools. We focus on the small, everyday moments โ€” cooking, planning, making less go to waste โ€” and try to make them a little easier.

Our story

We started with a simple question

What if the tools we use every day were designed with a little more care โ€” for us and for the world around us?

Miyo Studio is a small software company. We design and build mobile apps and digital tools that solve real, specific problems. Not everything needs to be a platform. Sometimes a well-made app that does one thing well is exactly enough.

We care about sustainability โ€” not as a tagline, but as a design constraint. Every product we make considers what it helps people use, reuse, or waste less of.

What drives us
  • Make useful things Products should solve problems people actually have, not problems we invented to sell a solution.
  • Respect people's time No dark patterns, no engagement traps. Open the app, get what you need, close the app.
  • Waste less, gently Sustainability works best when it fits into your life without friction. We design for that.
  • Stay small on purpose We'd rather make a few great products than chase growth for its own sake.

Fridgenie

A recipe app that works backward โ€” starting from what you already have. Tell Fridgenie what's in your fridge, and it generates meal ideas using those ingredients. Leftovers, odds and ends, that half a bag of spinach โ€” it all becomes dinner.

Built for people who want to cook more and waste less, without needing a meal plan or a grocery run.

  • Recipe ideas from your ingredients
  • Reduce food waste at home
  • No meal planning required
  • Works with what you have

What we're working on

Areas we care about and where we think good software can help.

Food & Home

Helping households cook smarter, store better, and throw away less. Fridgenie is our first step here โ€” there's more to explore.

Everyday sustainability

Small tools that make sustainable choices the easy default. We're interested in habits, not lectures โ€” software that fits into routines people already have.

Practical utilities

Simple, well-made tools for specific problems. Not every app needs to be a social network. Sometimes you just need something that works.
